Every day goes by like the blink of an eye

keeps changing its colours in varying shades of yellow and blues

Why, Why are you being so harsh on me Sunshine?

All days, So Bright and nosy! Some lines fading in between the bush

Some days outpour like the untold stories of miseries

Wishing for Sundays that never had much chaos

Or the fierce showers that gently cure, slowly…

This change unprepared, continuously shifting

Within me unnoticed, days, weeks, and now seasons I’ve seen

I hear, this normalcy soothing to you,

Alas I yearn so much for that comfort of quietness.

Will you slow down or pause for me?
